Hiring the Band
We would like to add life, colour and sound to your special event, be it a town festival, village fete, Bandstand gig, corporate event, garden party, wedding – name it, we can enhance it.
We vary in size from Small (Quintet) through Medium (10-piece Ensemble) to Large (Full British Brass of around 25 players). And, as all our players are volunteers, our fees are quite reasonable, depending on the scale of your event and our performance duration etc.
We try to honour a certain number of gigs a year, so do book early! We are now taking bookings for 2022 and beyond!

Joining the Band
The band is always ready to welcome players of any instrument for both our youth and senior bands. In particular, the Senior band currently has vacancies on Bb Cornet and Eb/Bb Bass, but players of other instruments are welcome too.
We rehearse at Patcham Junior School on Friday evenings and are able to supply new members with an instrument (if needed), uniform and music. Patcham is located on the outskirts of Brighton, East Sussex and is easily reached from the A23.
